Are Social responsibility and Art connected? I think so. Social responsibility is an ethical framework and suggests that you as an individual, have an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large. Social responsibility is a duty for each of us to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the ecosystems. When it comes to Art, as I an artist I always try to create pieces that benefit the society's development. But is this enough? Each of us can surely contribute and I like the idea of using my art as a medium to create social value.
